Throughout this summer, we will be hosting a number of church prayer initiatives as we seek to listen further to what God is telling us.
We have seen amazing things happen already this year such as healing, salvation and unexpected finance. We’ve also seen more people walk through our doors and we are delighted that they have become part of our family.
Not only that, but an increasing number of people – both locally and from afar – are telling us they have been encouraged by our online ministry while our midweek groups are helping us all grow in our faith.
This is not to blow our own trumpet, but to highlight the work that God has been doing at Cheadle New Life Church, and we believe this has all stemmed from prayer.
And so, we are holding several different and varied prayer initiatives over the summer. In short – we believe this is just the start, and we wish to be obedient to what God is calling us to do.
We will be holding prayer initiatives, drives and evenings over the summer, as well as a week of fasting and prayer – something we saw produce great fruit earlier this year. See the dates below for what we’ve got in store up until the end of August.
Tuesday, July 2 – Extended prayer meeting: 7pm – 9.30pm
Saturday, July 6 – Prayer drive: 11am – 3pm
Saturday, July 13 – Prayer drive: 2pm – 4.30pm
Monday, July 22 to Saturday, July 27 – Week of prayer and fasting
Sunday, August 4 – Party in the Park tent: Midday – 4pm
Saturday, August 31 – Half night of prayer ahead of new school year: 7pm – 11pm
